Blyth Tall Ship is committed to preserving traditional skills and sharing Blyth’s rich maritime heritage.
As a Volunteer Workshop Operative, you will work within our Heritage Workshops, supporting the creation, maintenance, and refurbishment of items using woodworking tools and techniques.
You will contribute to keeping our workshop safe, sustainable, and welcoming for all.
Skills & Experience (Desirable but not essential)
Commitment Flexible hours, to be agreed with the Volunteer Coordinator. Workshop sessions typically take place during the day.

- Uphold all Health & Safety guidelines, including safe tool use and manual handling.
- Support our Environmental Policy by reusing and recycling materials wherever possible.
