Join Us as a Family Hub Community Volunteer!

Do you want to make a real difference for families in your community? We’re looking for friendly, approachable volunteers to help families feel welcome and supported at Northumberland’s Family Hubs.

What you’ll do:

• Share information about Family Hubs and local services.
• Help parents overcome barriers and signpost them to support.
• Direct families to the Families Information Service for childcare advice.
• Assist with community events and information sessions.
• Provide feedback to help improve services for local families.

What we’re looking for:

• Someone welcoming, non-judgmental, and passionate about supporting families.
• Good communication and listening skills.
• Ability to work flexibly and as part of a team.

What you’ll gain:
