Northern Butterflies - Art Studio Support Volunteer

Are you passionate about pottery, textiles, or mixed media? Do you enjoy helping others discover their creative spark?

Northern Butterflies is looking for a dedicated volunteer to join our "big supportive family" specifically for our Thursday studio sessions. We provide a safe, creative space for adults with learning disabilities and mental health challenges to learn, laugh, and grow.

This role is for Thursdays only 10am- 1pm until July 2026.

Each Thursday will be different. Our studio is a vibrant, ever-changing environment where your role adapts to the needs of our artists. You might find yourself:

• In the Ceramics Corner: Helping prep clay, assisting with glazing, or supporting hand-building projects.

• At the Textiles Table: Guiding a learner through a sewing project or exploring fabric arts.

• Building Confidence: Being a friendly, non-judgmental mentor who helps a shy learner find their voice through art.
