Healthwatch Northumberland - Volunt-'ear'
Be a Volunt-'ear': Helping Us Hear Your Community
What the role involves
As a Volunt-'ear', you are our local connection. You’ll help us stay visible and reachable by:
- Spreading the word: Acting as the "eyes and ears" of your neighborhood to promote Healthwatch Northumberland.
- Keeping things stocked: Delivering feedback leaflets and posters to local GP surgeries, hospitals, dentists, opticians, and care homes.
- Staying visible: Ensuring that our latest information is on display so people know where to go for help.
Volunteering that fits your life
- Your Pace, Your Way: This is our most flexible role. You can work at your own speed, fitting it in around your daily walk, school run, or errands.
- Local or Remote: You can support your own immediate community or even help us with digital promotion from home.
- Regular or One-off: Give as much or as little time as you wish- there’s no pressure!
No experience? No problem!
We’re just looking for friendly people who care about their local area.
- Fully Supported: You’ll be part of a friendly team, and we’re always here to help.
- Training Provided: We’ll show you the ropes and provide all the materials (leaflets, posters, etc) you need.
- Your Skills Matter: If you have a particular interest or local connection, let us know!
