What the role will involve

This is an exciting opportunity to play an important role in delivering artistic and community events connected to the town’s history and culture.

Working with Living Barracks staff and volunteers, you could be stewarding on a range of events, from largescale projects with hundreds of participants to group activities and public talks. Whether it be welcoming audience members, staffing stations or serving refreshments, you will be helping to make the event safe and enjoyable for everyone involved.

The role is about being present in the space, observing visitor behaviour, and ensuring the event is enjoyed respectfully and safely.

No previous experience is required, but an interest in the arts/culture and a strong sense of responsibility are important.
